Vintage Trailer [eye] Candy

I attended the All Vintage Trailer Rally at Pismo Coast Village RV Resort last Saturday. I’m a little depressed now. I feel like a kid who had to sit next to a dish full of her favorite candy all afternoon but wasn’t allowed to eat one.

These trailers were amazing. And they really were like candy too. All wrapped in shiny silver or coated in a rainbow of sweet and sour colors. And that wasn’t all. There were also the neat vintage bikes, scooters, striped awnings (with matching tents!), party lights, steamer chairs, and THEN...add the cool retro tow vehicles and poof, over-stimulation.

I should have spread my visit out over two days.

I know what you’re thinking, but don’t worry. I’m still a die-hard Airstream dreamer. Attending the All Vintage Trailer Rally did peak my curiosity, but could I straddle the fence between my beloved pure-as-the-driven-snow aluminum pretties and the sexy Fire Ball or the winged Shasta? Hmm, I will ponder this new concept carefully. And while I’m pondering, I think I’ll have some candy.
