San Francisco Magazine Es(CA)pes to Santa Barbara Silver Safari!

I just have to toot my little horn every now and then. In this month’s (May, 2009) issue of San Francisco Magazine, my little trailer rental gets a nifty shout out in an article titled

“Es(CA)pes.” The piece highlights time-honored California vacations “with new twists.” Read the blurb here. I love that they used my photo on the San Francisco Magazine homepage (it scrolls, so wait for it....)

And, just so there is no confusion, they have a dy-no-mite photo editor on staff because that's not my trailer on the cover. And, the girl? - not me.

Of course, I don't know the guy either...but I'm working on that.

5/6/09 Update - I just got my hands on a copy of the magazine. It turns out that I rent a spiffy NEW Airstream too. Who knew? Funny how the fact that the only trailer I own and rent is a vintage 1967 Airstream Safari blew past both the magazine's reporter and their fact checker...oh well, I've always dreamed of owning a fleet of 'streams. I prefer the real deal to the virtual reality, but I'll take whatever I can get.
